God be gracious to us and bless us,\u00a0And\u00a0cause His face to shine upon us\u2014 Selah.\u00a0That Your way may be known on the earth,\u00a0Your salvation among all nations.\u00a0\u00a0Let the peoples praise You, O God;\u00a0Let all the peoples praise You.\u00a0Let the nations be glad and sing for joy;\u00a0For You will judge the peoples with uprightness\u00a0And guide the nations on the earth. Selah.\u00a0Let the peoples praise You, O God;\u00a0Let all the peoples praise You.\u00a0The earth has yielded its produce;\u00a0God, our God, blesses us.\u00a0God blesses us,\u00a0That all the ends of the earth may fear Him.\u00a0 (Psalm 67, NASB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 67 is so interesting to me that I highlighted the entire psalm.  It’s titled “The Nations Exhorted to Praise God.”  The author is not known, and it’s meant to be a song.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What stands out most for me in this psalm is the desire to make known to the world of God’s salvation, and that the whole earth should sing His praises.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded His disciples to go out to the world and spread His gospel.\u00a0 We’re taught that Jesus will not return to His earth to gather His elect until all people groups hear the message of salvation.\u00a0 This psalm is prescient to me in explaining these things.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
