{"id":938,"date":"2023-05-30T21:45:09","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T21:45:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deadmannotwalking.org\/?p=938"},"modified":"2023-05-30T21:45:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-30T21:45:13","slug":"pride","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deadmannotwalking.org\/?p=938","title":{"rendered":"Pride"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When pride comes, then comes dishonor,&nbsp;But with the humble is wisdom.&nbsp; (Proverbs 11:2, NASB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>King Solomon, the author of the book of Proverbs, had much to say about pride, and its destructiveness to us.&nbsp; In the verse above, Solomon says that pride begets dishonor, &#8220;but with the humble is wisdom.&#8221;&nbsp; Indeed!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C.S.
